During the tough pandemic period it was difficult to meet and organize a regular FDP, hence the management and staff came up with the idea of organizing the event online to enhance and enrich the faculty. The department of Electronics and Communication Engineering planned and organized A Three Day Online Faculty Development Program on “Python Programming Advanced Research Tools”.

About Python Programming: Python is an interpreted, high- level, general-purpose programming  language.  Created  by Guido  van  Rossum and  first released in 1991, Python's design philosophy emphasizes code readability with its notable use of significant whitespace. Its language constructs and object-oriented approach aim to help programmers write clear, logical code for small and large-scale projects

Python has become one of the popular programming languages. With the view of keeping the faculty abreast with the latest trends in embedded system programming, the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (E & CE) conducted a two day faculty development  program  on “Python  Programming”,  in  consultation  with  Pantech  e Learning, Hyderabad. Faculty from various colleges participated in the FDP.

Principal Dr. R. Basawaraja of our college, in his motivational speech emphasized upon updating the knowledge of the faculty, and encouraged participants to apply the knowledge of newly learned programming language in their research work.

Addressing the participants, Dr. V M Viswanatha, Head of Electronics and Communication Engineering Department, extended a heartfelt welcome to faculty members from various colleges. Followed by welcome address, in his key note address, he advised the faculty  member  to  keep  up  passion  of  learning  and  teaching  and  threw  light  on  the importance of knowledge power over money power. He also emphasized on the collaboration of industry and academia.

On all the three days participants took a lot of interest in the FDP and interacted with the resource person. At the end of session participants feedback was collected and most of the participants rated FDP as excellent.

On  the  concluding  day  coordinator  of  the  FDP  Prof.  V  K  Jalihal,  of  E  &  CE department presented vote of thanks to resource person Miss Hema Yelanki, Srinivasan, Director, Pantech e Learning, Management of HKES, Principal, HOD, staff of the college and participants from various college.
