Department of Computer Science and Engineering conducted “Bridge course on C++”  as  prescribed   in  curriculum  by  Visvesvaraya   Technological  University  (VTU), Belagavi. The resource person for the bridge course was Mr. Suresh Patel, Assistant Professor, Department of CSE, SLNCE, Raichur.

The course was planned from 03-02-2020 to 10-02-2020. The target audiences were students from second year of CSE department.

Bridge Course Objectives:

The objective of the bridge course was to revise object oriented concepts by using C++ as example. This acts as a prerequisite for objects oriented concepts using java which is core subject in 4th semester.  The course was designed with both theoretical and hands- on sessions.

Bridge Course Outcomes:

The participants will be able to apply and demonstrate

    1.Basics of C & C++ programming..

    2.Difference between Procedure Oriented Programming (POP) and Object Oriented Programming (OOP).

    3.Usage of class & objects in C++ with required terminologies.

    4.Building blocks of Object Oriented Programming (OOP).
